Comments:

I just wonder, why the file become much smaller than the technology preview one (it is about 45 MB while the final release is about 25 MB). and How to uninstall the technology preview and install the final one on Netbeans :D thank you !

VWP is absolutely great!!! How can I access the source code? Is there already a related NetBeans module available under cvs? Thanks for any info.

VWP source code will be available soon. It is not yet available in the Netbeans CVS. We are in the process of moving the source base from the closed source CVS to the Netbeans CVS.

I installed the final release, and the form designer seems to have gotten even more unstable than the TP version! I'm having huge difficulties setting up a webapp with a two tiered menu bar at the top of the screen using page fragments. Additionally, I've had to recreate the GUIs I made with the TP version as the form designer wouldn't even display the components on them at all. These are GUIs that are simple and have been created completely using the visual designer. Another issue is that when the designer does work, often it doesn't render elements correctly using their stylesheets.

I also have noticed that when switching between JSP files in the form designer - if you go back to a tab that was rendered correctly - often the rendering is completely broken when you go back to it.

I have been using Java Studio Creator. After reading some articles on the Sun webite, it looks like the best way forward is to move into Visual Web Pack. Has anyone had any issue in migratig from Studio Creator projct (withou web services / portal) to VBP?

Any news on the VWP source code availability? Sorry, I really don't want to be annoying. I'm only very interested. Thanks.

It is almost ready, but not yet fully ready for pushing in to the open source repository. Auditioning, package restructuring, license modification and code scraping are all happening in full swing.

I have installed the VWP for netbeans 5.5. I am trying to use the table component and I can't seem to get any of the data providers to work. Is there any documentation other than the help? Thanks

Can you assist with CSS question: Running Creator 2U1 on Windows XP What is the correct way to add a second CSS file to the project? here is a section of the Page1.JSP file: <ui:head binding="#{Page1.head1}" id="head1"> <ui:link binding="#{Page1.link1}" id="link1" media="all" url="/resources/stylesheet.css"/> </ui:head> simply duplicating the line as such crashes the application: <ui:head binding="#{Page1.head1}" id="head1"> <ui:link binding="#{Page1.link2}" id="link2" media="print" url="/resources/print.css"/> </ui:head> How do I get the second css entry into the JSP page that contains the "stylesheets.css" link?? Thanks
