Plugin development support in NB5.0 -- boy do I love it!

I absolutely love new plugin developemnt in NB 5.x. I started developing plugins for Netbeans way back when it was at version 2.x. Developing plugin was never easy as it is now in NB 5.x. It is so easy, even a first time NB plugin developer could create a fully working module with in 10 minutes, with out reading any tutorial. If you want tutorials, there are plenty available too.

Don't forget the excellent blogs by Geertjan and Roumen

Currently I'm converting some of the old modules (developed using NB 4.x) to NB 5.x. What really drawn my attention was the "Add Module Dependency" feature. Earlier it was a pain to find out which module contains the corresponding class. Now it is a child's play. In the "Add Module Dependency" dialog's filter text field type in your class name, you'll be pointed to not only the module but the exact class.

Way to go Netbeans team! Ah! I see some one's glory got eclipsed :)

Comments:

Hi Winston I see that the plugin is called XHTML Design Time Support. Will this plugin possibly give support for JSF Facelets (https://facelets.dev.java.net/) Best Regards Tobias
