Verrazzano at Developer Live August 3rd and 5th
We intend to give an important update on Verrazzano at the next Oracle Developer Live event - "Simplifying Modern App Dev" on August 3rd (Americas) or 5th (EMEA, Asia-Pac), and encourage you to register today.
As background, the Oracle Enterprise Cloud Native Java team has continued to deliver new features and capabilities, many of them in open source, to help our customers adopt cloud native technologies including Kubernetes and microservices. These include:
- Ongoing enhancements to the Helidon Java microservices framework
- Contributions to Micronaut, another Java microservices framework, and integration between Helidon and Micronaut
- New releases of Coherence Community Edition, with Coherence CE 21.06 just released
- Coherence Kubernetes support
- Oracle WebLogic Server Kubernetes support including the WebLogic Kubernetes ToolKit and certifications on OLCNE, OKE, and other Kubernetes implementations
- Updates to our WebLogic Server for OCI and WebLogic Server for OKE offerings in Oracle Cloud
An important aspect of our work has been our contributions to Verrazzano, a project to build a multi-cloud Kubernetes-based Enterprise Container Platform for running both cloud-native and traditional applications. Verrazzano can help you:
- Deploy, manage and secure container-based applications in Kubernetes
- Unify application lifecyle management across microservices and traditional applications
- Standardize management across Kubernetes on premises, on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, and on other public clouds
