New PeopleSoft Adapter for I/PM is Now Available

The new integration between I/PM and PeopleSoft is now available. It builds on the same framework as the E-Business Suite Adapter for I/PM and allows you to configure access to image centric workflow tasks and images from PeopleSoft screens.

PeopleSoft Adapter for I/PM

We are putting the final touches on an updated integration between Oracle Imaging and Process Management and PeopleSoft. This integration will allow you to configure access to image centric workflow tasks and images from PeopleSoft screens.

Support Extensions for I/PM and UCM 10gR3 (Updated)

Update to original Post: Oracle recently created a new Oracle Lifetime Support Policy PDF specifically for Fusion Middleware Products. It should make it easier to identify Oracle Enterprise Content Management Releases.

If you haven't come across the Oracle Lifetime Support Policy PDF for Fusion Middleware on Oracle.com, I encourage you to bookmark it. Starting on page 23, it provides a chart that walks through the 10gR3 releases as well as the Stellent and Captovation releases and details when premier and extended support ends. As many of you know, Oracle provides Sustaining support indefinitely for products. Details for each level of support are also included in this data sheet.

I have some good news! Due to the timing of the Stellent acquisition, 10gR3 of our ECM products were released in May 2007 (instead in 2006 with other Fusion Middleware 10gR3 releases). We understand many organizations have recently upgraded to 10gR3 or are currently in the process. Because of this, Oracle has extended Premier and Extended Support End dates for Imaging and Process Management as well as Universal Content Management - with Extended Support reaching out until 2015. The Oracle Lifetime Support Policy PDF for Fusion Middleware continues to reflect these recent changes.

Demo Available: Oracle E-Business Suite Adapter for Imaging and Process Management

Oracle just recently announced, on the Quarterly Customer Update Webcast, our new Oracle E-Business Suite Adapter for Imaging and Process Management. The Adapter provides solutions that increase the automation of processes like accounts payable and expense management, by integrating E-Business Suite with document imaging and additional workflow capabilities that help to streamline operations.

The Oracle I/PM integration with Oracle E-Business Suite is more "configuration" than "customization" because the adapter is an out-of-the box integration that provides easy to use solution templates and commands to set-up and manage the system. This eliminates all hard-coded integration mechanisms and provides flexible configuration options to define which additional commands are made available to EBS users and what happens when a command is invoked from EBS.

* Supports E-Business Suite Release 11 or 12.0.4.0.0.

Oracle ECM Product Team Launches New Blog - Stay Updated!

We just launched a new blog focused on keep the Oracle content management community up-to-date on product releases, integrations, certifications, events, samples, how-to's and more.

You'll be able to subscribe to the ecm alerts via RSS feeds on the blogs. You can monitor changes for all products and topics related to ECM. Or, we'll be tagging content by product (ODC, ODDC, I/PM, IRM, UCM, UOA, URM) and topic (Events, How-To's, Integration, Certification, Other, Release Information, Samples). This will enable you to monitor blog posts related to only the products and topics you're interested in via RSS feeds.
