OpenWorld 2013: Hands-On is Much More Fun
By Lance Shaw on Sep 04, 2013
Now that you've made your flights and booked your hotel room for the upcoming OpenWorld in San Francisco this year, it's time to think about your agenda for the week. When planning out how to get the most of your attendance, be sure to consider the WebCenter Hands-On Labs this year. For IT practitioners and developers, we have four(4) hands-on-labs this year. These are great to recommend to those who would like a working feel of our products. All labs will be based on the latest 184.108.40.206.0 release of WebCenter, so this is a terrific way to see the latest product features in action and be trained directly by the WebCenter Product Management team!
Here is the schedule of WebCenter Hands-On Labs for OpenWorld 2013:
HOL10064, Monday, 9/23, 1 hour, Oracle WebCenter Content 11g Release 1: Managing Content with the New Web UI
HOL10066, Tuesday, 9/24, 1 hour Oracle WebCenter Sites 11g Release 1: Mobile Site Management for Business Users
HOL10064, Wednesday, 9/25, 1 hour, Oracle WebCenter Content 11g Release 1: Managing Content with the New Web UI (Repeat of Monday)
HOL10067, Wednesday, 9/25, 2.5 hours, Oracle WebCenter Portal 11g Release 1: Develop a Multichannel Intranet in Two Hours
All of these take place in the Marriott Marquis hotel, just a few minutes walk from the convention center. There is limited space available so be sure to get there a few minutes early if you can!
We do know that many of you cannot join us in San Francisco this year and if that is the case for you, please be sure to join us for our overview webcast showcasing the new features of WebCenter Content, Sites and Portal. You may not be able to get your hands on it, but at least you will get your eyes on it.
We will see you at the webcast, at the show or better yet.... both!
