Oracle has its virtualization environment VirtualBox released in version 4.1. Big surprises compared to the beta version should not exist, users are still allowed to look at a number of bug fixes and several new features. The changelog promises among other things, a graphical interface designed to simplify the cloning of virtual machines, a wizard for creating and copying virtual drives or even an experimental video drivers for Windows guests, providing support for Aero effects of Windows 7 and a revised Direct3D Support brings. Also experimental is a new hot-plugging mechanism for SATA hard drives, on the VirtualBox command line (VBoxManage) could be used. http://desktophelp.in/forums/thread-1001.html

    Hello.

I´m a fan of Oracle Virtualization environments, on Oracle VM-Xen and Virtualbox lastly, for build RAC systems, DG test scenarios and other HA systems.

I also combine VBOX and OVM for to have a VM HA systems in one big laptop BOX (8GB RAM and in a 2nd 16GB RAm and core i7).

I'm waiting for the new relase 3.0 Oracle VM for upgrade all my virtual systems and get some of new features for build Cloud prototypes in Oracle sw (HA RAC - OVM - ASM-iSCSI and SOA -WebLogic - BPEL -BPMN), mixed with any others testing flexibility an interoperability.

I shall be pleased receiving updates about comments and launchings about new releases of sw and templates !.

    Regards.
