Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager support with Oracle Enterprise Manager 13c version 13.4

We are excited to announce support for Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager within Enterprise Manager 13c version 13.4; for further details on the 13.4 release please refer to the following resources: Press ReleaseDocumentation and Software Download.

This support is for registration and monitoring of multiple Oracle Linux Virtualization Managers with active management coming in a later release.

The registration process is similar to that currently supported for Oracle VM Server using Oracle Enterprise Manager 13c.

Once registered all logical entities such as Data-centers, Clusters, Servers and Guest VM's within Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager are modeled within the Target Navigation View.


Each layer is modeled as a target within Oracle Enterprise Manager 13c:

All available metrics from each layer are captured within the portal with easy integration within the existing incident rules framework within Oracle Enterprise Manager 13c:
