How to use Ansible with Oracle Linux and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)

Simon Hayler
Senior Technical Product Manager

Previously I blogged about an Oracle Linux Developer Community post on how to use Terraform with Oracle Linux and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Today, I have posted on the Oracle Linux Developer Community on how to use Ansible with Oracle Linux and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

Infrastructure as a code is an interesting topic and works hand in hand with Oracle Linux and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Recently we announced a new Oracle Cloud Developer image which now includes Ansible and Ansible modules for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

My community post describes how to use Oracle Linux 7 with Ansible in a virtual environment to create Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) networking components and an Oracle Linux 7 instance. The example uses sample Ansible playbooks within the Ansible modules for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

For information on Oracle Linux refer here; for information on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) refer here.
