Enabling Single-Sign On (SSO) Between Visual Builder Cloud Service and Oracle SaaS

John Jullion-Ceccarelli
Product Manager

Lots of people ask how to set up Single Sign-On (SSO) between Visual Builder Cloud Service and Oracle SaaS like Sales Cloud, ERP Cloud, and others. You can find all the details in this wonderful guide, which is aimed at Java Cloud Service but is totally applicable to Visual Builder Cloud Service as well:

Extend an Oracle Fusion Application Cloud Service UI with an embedded Java application

From the guide:

In general, we have two component groups we want to integrate:

  • Oracle Fusion Applications Cloud Service Components: The Oracle Fusion Applications Cloud Service services have an Identity Management stack.

  • PaaS Components: Oracle Cloud PaaS services, including Oracle Developer Cloud ServiceOracle Integration CloudOracle Messaging Cloud ServiceOracle Process Cloud Service, and more. These components are protected by either SIM, or by Oracle Identity Cloud Service.

The guide takes you through the steps of configuring Oracle SaaS as an OAuth provider in IDCS, synchronizing users and roles, and federating PaaS IDCS with SaaS. Enjoy!

Wagner - FA stands for Fusion Apps - Oracle's SaaS.
I would suggest that you move this discussion to our forum:
