JavaFX Production Suite - Example.

One more example of JavaFX production Suite. Though the complete thing can be done in Photoshop alone but I am just giving an example. I have made a house in Photoshop, which is not very good :(, but fair enough. And I animated the star effect in JavaFX.

So, here is my home in photoshop :

Actually this is funny, I was following a tutorial to make house and in temptation, I made shadow as well, but there is no meaning of shadow in night :). Now, I filled star sparking effect in this from JavaFX.

Filling star effect need same which we have written for sparkling glasses. Just some changes here and there. In the last blog we have already discussed how to import work from Photoshop.

Here are the things to download:

1. House in fxz format .

2. Code (Main.fx, Star.fx)

Lot many things can be done. But I don't know Photoshop.

Just use any of the tool, photoshop or illustrator. WHen you have installed JavaFX production suite, it will give you plugin for photoshop and illustrator. Put the plugin in plugin folders. And then these tools will detect JavaFX format.

Make one image in Photoshop or Illustrator, save the file with JavaFX format that is fxz format. then open that file in NB. It will show you the code, make animation with it.

that's it !

Can you help me? i need a code to upload images using javafx. Create a button and then when i click it, i will be able to browse through the files in my computer and choose any pictures I like. Do you know how to do that...?

Sincerely,
Jira

Sure, you need to use JFileChooser of Java API. Search in JFileChooser or you can see the Flower sample in JavaFX Site/ Or image Uploaded I guess on the main page on Samples.

Please let me know if you are not able to do that, we will make it !
