The facility will allow customers to retain data according to their policies (legal or otherwise) whilst offering strategies for cost effective storage of that data.

To help with the implementation of this new facility two new whitepapers have been published to My Oracle Support for download:

Additional products will be releasing additional whitepaper as they release the ILM based components.

Do you know any note to use ILM with Exadata?

We just deploy ILM 1.4 over APEX in our Exadata.

    Thank you.

Refer to the ILM Assistant documentation on ExaData. Look under Related Resources.

    Hi Anthony,

Do you know if we can use ILM with MDM ? As I understand even if it is a framework features, they are consideration for each product, right ?

Is there a guide for MDM like the one for CC&B (Information Life Cycle Management (ILM) Implementation Guide for Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing (Doc Id: 1682442.1)) ?

The MDM version is being worked on at the moment and will be released with the next MDM service pack.
