OpenSource talk at Thriving@Sun

Thriving@Sun is the induction program for new joinees in Sun. New joinees get to know about various technology areas Sun works in, the other non technical departments in Sun like Sales and Marketing. They are also told about Sun's history and involvement with OpenSource. They are told about the Sun's values, goals and objectives so that they can effectively contribute to the organization.

As a member of the IEC OpenSource Initiative team, I gave a talk to this batch of new hires on OpenSource, Sun's involvement with OpenSource and how to participate in OpenSource communities.

Finally I ended my talk saying that we are looking forward to creating the next heros of OpenSource in IEC (India Engineering Center).

Looking forward to active participation in various OpenSource communities by this fresh bunch of new hires ...

A special thanks to Swathi and Gopal for helping out with the presentations and for taking the pictures. A special thanks to Rohan for making the poster for the OpenSource Mela.
