Nexenta distribution of OpenSolaris

I download the Nexenta installation iso file from the Nexenta web site, then burnt an installation CD. the Alpha 6 CD did not work, so I download the Alpha 5 iso, burnt a CD and installed hte Nexenta distribution which uses the OpenSolaris kernal.

All in all, the install is good.

Good stuff:
\* DHCP internet access works first time.
\* Firefox, which I am using now.
\* OpenOffice, which I will be using.
\* My favorite Unix game Robots is included.

Bad stuff:
\* Extended character sets, Chinese, Japanese, and Thai, do not work in Firefox.
\* I needed to manually copy the flash plugin file for Firefox into /usr/lib/firefox/plugins.
\* I don't know how to access data from my usb thumb drive.

Next, I am installing the Sun Application Server 9.0, and NetBeans.
\* The app.server install, reminded me I need to install the Java JDK, which I downloaded and installed.

I will write more later, after I try.
