New ILM Whitepapers available

In Oracle Utilities Application Framework V4.2.0.2.0 and above, a new archiving and data management capability was introduced to help customers design a cost effective storage solution and data management strategy for their implementations of Oracle Utilities products. The facility will allow customers to retain data according to their policies (legal or otherwise) whilst offering strategies for cost effective storage of that data.

To help with the implementation of this new facility two new whitepapers have been published to My Oracle Support for download:

Additional products will be releasing additional whitepaper as they release the ILM based components.

Comments:

Hello,

Do you know any note to use ILM with Exadata?

We just deploy ILM 1.4 over APEX in our Exadata.

Thank you.

Hi Anthony,

Do you know if we can use ILM with MDM ? As I understand even if it is a framework features, they are consideration for each product, right ?

Is there a guide for MDM like the one for CC&B (Information Life Cycle Management (ILM) Implementation Guide for Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing (Doc Id: 1682442.1)) ?

Thanks.
