JavaOne 2011 Content revealed & Duke Choice Awards Nominations!

The JavaOne 2011 event catalog is now available with keynotes, sessions, hands-on-labs, BOFs, panels and user-group meetings is now available. While the schedule is not quite ready yet, this should give you a detailed view at this year's content which we hope is rated as good as last year's. Markus, a JavaOne and Oracle OpenWorld "veteran", was quick to blog his thoughts on the content.

Also worth mentioning is the call for nominations for the Duke's Choice Awards. The "Java Source" blog has more details on the process to nominate the most innovative projects using the Java platform and what those can get in return. For a list of previous winners, check out the Duke's Choice Awards main page. Results will be announced at the JavaOne conference.

GlassFish @ JavaOne - Full speed ahead

JavaOne photo

The GlassFish un-conference, party, and CommunityOne are behind us (and things went really, more on that once things settle down). Now JavaOne just started and there's plenty of GlassFish content. Rajeshwar has a convenient one-pager for GlassFish activities for the remainder of the week.

Check it out and make sure if you're at JavaOne to stop by one of the GlassFish booths to say hello and chat about any GlassFish topic you may have.
