Comments:

Doesn't work with JDK6, you have to download JAXB 2.1 separately and install it by hand. Didn't start the JBI app at all. The asadmin command doesn't work.

Ouch! It seems like it needs some more work before beta, eh.. :-(. JAXB 2.1 was just released as final so that probably just missed the boat. JDK6 is something that should have been tested but I can see the problem happening in the rush to the milestone. The other two seem harder to explain... Have you already filed the bugs? Thanks! - eduard/o

Is Facelets being used for the Admin GUI?

We are aware of one issue with running with JDK 6. This has to do with newer versions of JAX-WS and JAXB in the appserver's javaee.jar than in JDK 6. This may be the problem that is being faced when starting JBI.

Here is the bug id 6505140

One work around for this is to create a directory <appserver-install>/lib/endorsed and then move the javaee.jar file from <appserver-install>/lib directory to <appserver-install>/lib/endorsed directory
