All GlassFish 3.1 Screencasts

Our Official Channel at YouTube is GlassFishVideos.  It's still very new - we started it just a bit over a month ago - but it already has over 4,580 channel views.  Not at the level of the Lady Java videos ([1], [2], [3]), but it is a good beginning.

We currently have 31 videos at GlassFishVideos.  They mostly cover GlassFish 3 and are grouped into series.  We are currently trying to cover the features in the new, ongoing, release: GlassFish 3.1.

All the most recent screencasts have been based on the 3.1 Milestones; we hope to have screencasts covering Milestone 5 before JavaOne:

I find all this talk about milestones rather confusing. Are there any milestone builds of Glassfish? If yes, where can I find them? If no, how do the milestones map to 3.1 promoted builds?

Hi Harald. You are right, we use the "Milestone" terminology when talking about freezes and features but then switch to just using "Promoted" in the builds [1]. Let me create a table mapping from one to the other and push it out as a short entry today or tomorrow.

Nazrul pointed out the mapping at [1]. Milestone builds are cumulative, so you should be using the latest promoted build that maps to a milestone.

In theory, each promoted is better than the previous, but we spend more TLC on those designated as Milestones.
