Debugging JAXB - Why JAXB does not find my class...

Guest Author

XML Duke

A common problem when using JAXB is
when a developer finds that
her sub-classes are not used when reading an XML document that uses
@xsi:type into Java objects.
The root cause is due to class loading... but
Kohsuke decided he had heard the problem enough times
(forum thread)
that he wrote a blog to explain how to go about it.

Check
Kohsuke's blog
for the debugging methodology and the way to solve the problem.
