I had the opportunity of talking with some of Sun's software partners today, it was fun but way too short. We touched on Open Source and GlassFish and on the whole the feedback was positive and very supportive.
Anyway, to address some of the GlassFish questions raised I thought it would be better to provide some links on this blog (which I unnashamedly plugged).
Firstly, on the importance of supporting the OSS ecosystem (popular frameworks and apps.). We recognized early on just how important this is and have been pretty busy (with the help of the community). Shreedar maintains the GlassFish extras page which lists all the frameworks we know have been tested (to some degree) on GlassFish - there are likely many more - leave a comment if you know of any.
This blog is the megaphone for the GlassFish community - it exists to help grow awareness of project GlassFish and the broader community. If you are doing interesting things with GlassFish - let us know (see top right) and we'll throw some link love your way.
We've tried hard to make this content as accessible as possible - we have Chinese and Spanish summary translations (but need help with others) and you can subscribe to The Aquarium in all the ways that matter (see the right-hand menu).
It was great meeting you all today and I appreciate the opportunity.
