Administration features in GlassFish

Guest Author

GlssFish Admin tool

Kedar Mhaswade has started a weblog about the Administration features in GlassFish. These features include fairly sophisticated command line and graphical interfaces, callflow support to view what was called during an invocation, and the administration features can be programmatically managed through the JMX based APIs. The links in the previous line point to pages in the GlassFish community which talk about the implementation and usage details. We look forward to learning more about this useful feature in GlassFish from Kedar.

Also Marina blogs about a new article, Managing and Monitoring Sun Java System Application Server 8.1. It introduces the management tools and the associated APIs and shows how to use them. GlassFish implements the next generation of the tools and so much of the article still applies.
