Another outstanding Oracle OpenWorld is in the books. A huge thank you to our customers, sponsors, exhibitors, staff, vendors, and every single person who helped make this event a smash success.

Thank you to the 15 milllion+ online viewers who engaged in conversations and viewed the live videos from Oracle OpenWorld, making the event even more global in nature.

We'll be back soon with ways to help you continue your OpenWorld education and start bringing the insights you learned into your business. In the meantime, here are a few eye-opening stats depicting the impact of Oracle OpenWorld 2016.

In addition to "painting San Francisco red", Oracle's goal was to turn San Francisco into the Technology Capital of the World for 5 days. We're proud to have an extremely diverse and global attendee base. Did you know that our attendees represented 141 countries? Take a look at this video to hear the reasons Oracle customers attend Oracle OpenWorld from all over the globe.

The sessions and keynotes remain one of the hallmarks of Oracle OpenWorld. In 2016, we offered more than 2,200 sessions, the majority of which were led by Oracle customers and partners. This year we also introduced a new session format--the Collected Learning Pilot. Partnering the Graduate School of Education's Project Zero, we focused a number of Oracle OpenWorld sessions on a group learning philosophy. Were you able to attend any of these sessions? Take a look at the Collective Learning video to see the pilot in action!

We could not host Oracle OpenWorld without the city of San Francisco's amazing support. In 2016, we had the opportunity to partner with the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce to host 500+ local businesses for the biztechSF event. We were also lucky enough to have Mayor Ed Lee introduce Sting at the Oracle Appreciation Event at AT&T Park! We're proud to make an immediate impact on the Bay Area, through our community and sustainability efforts and our support of local businesses.

Although the dust may have settled on Oracle Cloud Plaza @ Howard Street, the conversation around #oow16 is still buzzing. Stay tuned for more insights, coverage, and ways to extend your Oracle OpenWorld experience!
