World Cup ASCII

If you're feeling lucky, check out ASCII-WM 2006. These enterprising young lads have posted a feed of the FIFA World Cup coverage converted to ASCII! Just telnet to ascii-wm.net, port 2006, and you get a live feed is all its ASCII-art glory. I've yet to manage to connect; the server is always hammered. One of my co-workers has, though, and says it is exactly as advertised.

In case you're wondering, the "WM" stands for "Weltmeisterschaft," the German term for the World Cup.

Comments:

I've tried this from work, but after I telnet as directed, nothing happens. The window closes and that is it. If I try to open a cmd and run it, I am not able to open port 2006. Any advise? miershpedankl
