What's My Version

Whenever you write in to the Grid Engine mailing lists with a problem, the first question everyone will ask is what version of the software you're running. If you just downloaded it, it may be obvious, but often you'll have to go look. Normally we tell folks to use
qconf | head -1 to get the version number, but that only works if you've source the settings file. I just noticed that there's a new way that works without needing to source the settings file:
<sge_root>/install_qmaster -v. Of course, it only works with 6.1, but going forward it will be useful.
