Running RCU on OEL Linux 6.0 64 bit

Recently, I came across the RCU issue as it is only certified to run on 32 bit OS (Linux or Windows), But I wanted to run it on OEL 64 bit. I discovered that although RCU GUI can only run on 32-bit OS, You can actually run it in silent mode (console mode) directly on 64 bit. This is a real blessing as it saves time to try and find a 32 bit OS. just install RCU and run following command from rcuHome/bin

./rcu -silent -createRepository -databaseType ORACLE -connectString host1.oracle.com:1521:orcl -dbUser sys -dbRole sysdba -schemaPrefix TEST -component SOAINFRA -component MDS -component ORASDPM

Please ensure you have changes the process parameter on the database using following SQL command

alter system set processes=400 scope=spfile;
