Password Management for Oracle PSRM

It is important for customers to understand how to maintain passwords for Oracle Public Sector Revenue Management (PSRM), which is built using Oracle Utilities Framework (OUAF).  PSRM and OUAF do not supply functionality to maintain a password.  It is Oracle's direction for industry products and core applications not to maintain security information as it is not their role in an architecture.  We recommend Oracle Identity Management Suite for password management as password rules and user provisioning ensure a secure and compliant security fabric across the product line.  However, PSRM and OUAF follow open technology standards, so 3rd party password management solutions may be used.

Please, refer to the link below for a sample that illustrates how to call an internal WebLogic API to change the password from a product via a JSP call regardless of the Authentication Provider within Oracle WebLogic.

ETPM/OUAF 2.3.1 Framework Overview - Session 3

The OUAF Framework Session 3 is now available. This session covered the following topics:

1. UI Maps - the generation of display of UI Maps in the system based on the setup of the Business Object.  Tips and tricks for generating the UI Map.

2. BPA Scripts - how scripts have changed using the different step types.  Overview of the BPA Scripts.

3. Case Study - a small presentation of using the different options available when implementing requirements.

4. Revision Control - the options for revision control of configuration objects in ETPM.

ETPM/OUAF 2.3.1 Framework Overview - Session 2

A number of sessions are planned to review the ETPM (OUAF) 2.3.1 Framework.  These sessions will include an overview of the Navigation, Portals, Zones, Business Objects, Business Services, Algorithms, Scripts, etc..

Session 2 includes a more in depth discusion of Business Objects (BO).  Session 2 specifically covers BO Schema, BO Options, and BO inheritance in more depth.  Click on the link below for Session 2 (52 minutes).

ETPM/OUAF 2.3.1 Framework Overview - Session 1

A number of sessions are planned to review the ETPM (OUAF) 2.3.1 Framework.  These sessions will include an overview of the Navigation, Portals, Zones, Business Objects, Business Services, Algorithms, Scripts, etc..

Session 1 includes an overview of the standards in ETPM 2.3.1 Navigation and changes in the configuration and options for Portals and Zones.  Session 1 starts to look at the configuration of Business Objects.  The next session will provide an in-depth explanation for the configuration of Business Objects.
