I like the original beta design. It is a nice updated change for Metalink I think has been a long time needed. There is a delay when it paints new information when changing tabs, how about keeping the information cached for a session or certain period of time before fetching again? Not sure of the feasibility? or perhaps allow the enduser to choose.

The performance improvements are great to see, much better.

Oracle has deployed iTAR as part of its global e-business strategy. ITAR - Internet Technical Assistance Request -- is a key feature of MetaLink 2.0 which allows you to create, update, query, and close Service Requests at your convenience on the web. It is not a convenience if the user doesn't want this feature and it adds a large waiting time before the user can get to the tabs he wants to use. It is not an upgrade if forced on the user. Need to incorporate a feature to deactivate this as it is a major distraction.
