Tune in each month as our hosts, Haley Simon and Michael Coe, the regional coordinators for the campus ambassasor program along with Jordan Slott, Global Technical Lead, explore what's happening at university campuses around the world.
Get ready to hear what technology topics are hot in Canada. Teera is originally from Thailand and has just graduated from Simon Fraser University, British Columbia. Teera has some great background working as a software developer for several companies in the BC healthcare industry and at Business Objects in the BI Platform team. His work focuses on developing web applications across multiple platforms including Java, .NET, and PHP.
Teera gives us a snapshot into the computer curriculum on campus and how students, grad students, and professors are using Sun technology. He has taken on the role of campus ambassador and is evangelizing and helping students with their software development...everything from Java, Java EE, jMaki, and Ruby on Rails to Java ME.
I have to say, it's very cool to hear first-hand from a student what's really happening on campus...the trends, projects, research...it's all great stuff. To learn more be sure to check out Teera's blog.
