Track Your MS-Windows Systems

Just a few weeks after we announced that Service Tags were available for Linux, I'm really pleased to let you know you can also now get them for Windows too!  This means you can now use the Sun Inventory service to track, organize and report on just about any x86 or SPARC server running all the major operating systems.  Go on over to Sun Inventory and click on the Download Service Tags link to get your Windows Service Tags (or Solaris and Linux too!).
Comments:

Will the new Windows service tags allow me to register an instance of Windows even if that instance is hosted by a non-Sun computer system? Thanks.
