While the whole Web 2.0 term has become cliche, its concepts are only beginning to be realized. A recent article over at InformationWeek talks about Enterprise 2.0 and how these Web 2.0 collaboration techniques are starting to find their way into business. Daniel started a recent discussion around Systems Management 2.0 a couple months ago (referring to Michael Cote's ideas) that had some similar ideas.
What happens when you mash up traditional IT with web 2.0? A number of us have been brainstorming about that. What if you could rate software patches the same way you rate a NetFlix movie or an Amazon purchase? Have you seen Slynker yet? Imaging spreading some of that into your management tools. Hmmm, lots of possibilities here.
