Secure Enterprise Search Certified with EBS 12

Oracle Secure Enterprise Search (SES) is now certified with Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.  If you missed our late-2007 announcement about this certification, here's a recap of the basics.  Secure Enterprise Search (SES) provides new search capabilities for R12: Apps users can search for E-Business Suite data using a unified search engine, with search results displayed based upon their Applications responsibilities. Searches can be performed on structured and unstructured data. Notably, search results respect multi-level security, including:

  • Role-based access control (RBAC) functional and data security
  • Product-specific security policies
