DMZ + OracleAS 10g + E-Business Suite Architecture:

Just to ensure that there's no confusion about what's been certified, the full name of this patchset is:
This latest certification includes the use of the following Oracle Application Server 10g components with Apps 11i:

Just for Linux... For Now

This patchset has been certified for Linux platforms only

We're working on the 10.1.2.2 certification for other platforms for E-Business Suite environments, but as usual, I don't have have a firm schedule for these other certifications or the other platforms yet.  You're welcome to monitor or subscribe to this blog for updates on the remaining certifications.

Jeff, it's patch 4960210.  I've linked it to the patch name in the article; thanks for the reminder to do this.Regards,Steven

What's the Patch number for Patch Set 2 (10.1.2.2.0) that you mention?

Hi Steven,
I am following note # 306653.1 to setup an external webserver for the webcache, everything installed and configured per the notes.
When I am attempted to logon to the external url, it loaded, but then it show the internal url after logged in, is there something that I am missing on the config file?

I am expecting the external virtual hostname to show up in the url when logged in with the external url link.

thanks in advance,

Tom.

Hi, Tom,

I suspect that this is either a simple configuration issue, or perhaps a firewall somewhere that's blocking the traffic at some point.

I'd like to get someone to help you with this issue. Can you log a formal Service Request via My Oracle Support (formerly Metalink) to get one of our specialists engaged?

Please feel free to forward your Service Request number to me if it gets stuck in the support process for some reason.

Regards,
Steven
