By Steven Chan-Development-Oracle on Nov 21, 2008
Our blogging team continues to expand to include the authoritative experts from our E-Business Suite Development team. I'm very happy to welcome Ada Constanzo-Muller to our growing panel of contributing authors to this blog.
Like Ivo Dujmovic and Noby Joseph, Ada is a key member of our Oracle Applications Technology Integration team. The Applications Technology Integration group integrates components such as Oracle Application Server and Oracle Database into the Oracle E-Business Suite technology stack.
Here's more information about Ada's background:
Ada Constanzo-Muller is a Senior Manager in the Oracle Applications Technology Integration group. In particular she manages the TXK template development team, a global team in charge of configuration projects and configuration related bug fixing for Oracle Applications Release 11i and Release 12. Her team also provides the installation scripts use by the Applications Platform Group team to stage the different Oracle Homes shipped via Oracle Applications Rapid Install. Her team works closely with the TXK AutoConfig engine team; the templates her team produces are instantiated by the AutoConfig engine.
Ada has been with Oracle since March 1994 and has had individual contributor and managerial responsibilities within Oracle. She started her Oracle career in the Applications Porting division porting Oracle Applications (starting with Applications 10.5) to different platforms. Ada has also worked in the Applications Administration (AD) development team and the Platform Management Kit (PKM) team (base applications release team). She spent a lot of her time in PKM performing applications upgrades from 10.7 to 11.0 and then to 11.5 with databases with sizes of up to 3 Terabytes.
Prior to joining Oracle, Ada worked in a private company developing proprietary newsroom software, and has worked in the defense industry working in signal processing projects. Ada has more than two decades in the software development industry where she has held roles in all areas of the industry, first as a developer coding in PL/1, Ada, C, Perl; porting various software systems to different UNIX platforms, and as a development manager. She holds an M.S. in Computer Science and a B.Sc in Mathematics. She is also fluent in Spanish.
