Hi Steven,
The link https://oracleus.wingateweb.com/scheduler/eventcatalog/eventCatalog.do doesn't work.

Could you let me know how to get the presentation documents for the following

"Extending Oracle E-Business Suite with Oracle ADF and Oracle SOA Suite - Session 12382".

Thanks,
Suresh.

Posted by Suresh on March 14, 2012 at 12:31 PM PDT #

Hi, Suresh,

We'll be posting a new version of that presentation soon; please monitor this blog for updates.

Regards,
Steven

Posted by Steven Chan on March 14, 2012 at 02:43 PM PDT #

Hi Suresh,

Integration between Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle ADF is an ongoing project, and integration-related features such as AppsDataSource are available in the Oracle E-Business Suite SDK for Java. See https://blogs.oracle.com/stevenChan/entry/appsdatasource_jaas_ebs on the blog, and see MOS Note 974949.1 for more information about the parts of the integration that are available now.

One thing you can do now is to use the AppsDataSource with Oracle ADF. AppsDataSource allows you to access stored procedure APIs available through the APPS schema.

Thanks,

Sara

What version of MS Internet Explorer will work with Oracle 11g Fusion Middleware? Also having problems opening Discoverer in IE.8

Posted by GregoryT on March 19, 2012 at 09:32 AM PDT #

GregoryT,

This blog is dedicated to Oracle E-Business Suite, so my answers aren't authoritative.

I believe that Fusion Middleware 11g is certified with IE 9, but you should validate that with a Fusion Middleware specialist (either via a formal Service Request or on a Fusion Middleware-focussed blog or forum).

I'm sorry that you're having trouble with Discoverer + IE 8. I'd recommend logging an Service Request against the Discoverer product to get a Discoverer specialist to assist with that.

Steven
