Pointy Hair and Impulses

Dumbest thing I've said in a staff meeting in a while:

You have to have hair to be a pointy-haired boss.

It was dumb because it was wrong. And not just wrong because my boss does indeed have some kind of uniform hair matter.

The PHB doesn't really have uniform hair covering as much as hair growths that could be interpreted as hair singularities, not just in the sci-fi sense but in the mathematical sense as well. The shape of the Dirac delta function matches the pointy hair in terms of form and function (impulse, that is).

If you're wondering how a discussion of management styles turned into a discourse on generalized mathematics, it's because I'm returning from four days of vacation preceded by three days of hockey tournament. It's a warm up blog, done on impulse.
