London to Manchester in under 7 hours !!
Thanks to the modern day design of trains, it is now possible to get from London to Manchester in less than 7 hours, yes 7 hours. Having been off last week, I unfortunately had booked to speak at mini bar on the Friday night and thus had to drag my girlfriend to a Startup Event at which she was asked many times what her company did, when she wanted to sell out and who were her investors !!!
To help make this less painful for her we had drinks and dinner with nic from fav.or.it and Sophie from Beta Startup.com lol, and then woke early on the Saturday to make our way home at which point the pain started, no trains from Euston to Manchester.
So how did we get home ? St Panceas (lovely station ) to Sheffield, Sheffield to Manchester, taking the whole day to travel, how can there be no trains from Euston to Manchester on a weekend ?
Tip for next time, hire a bike and lose some weight at the same time.
