SunSolve to MOS transition this weekend

The information on the Welcome Center will be updated regularly as
the transition approaches, so please be sure to revisit the page often
to get the latest updates.

Please note that I am not leading this transition and I will be unable to help with issues regarding access entitlement.

If you encounter issues with My Oracle Support, then:

  1. If you can log into MOS, use the "Contact Us" link to file a Service Request
  2. If you can't log into MOS, call Oracle support

    The ILOM updates for x64 servers seem to be missing from oracle support site...

    Hi "Anon",

    ILOM updates are available from My Oracle Support.

    Go to the "Patches & Updates" tab.

    Click on "Produce or Family (Advanced Search)".

    Select the hardware product you are interested in.

    For example, type "x6" and select, Product is Sun Blade X6440 Server Module.

    Select the Release(s) you are interested in, e.g. Release is X6440 SW 2.2.0

    Click Search.

    The ILOM and BIOS patch is one of the results returned.

    The WORST "upgrade" I have ever seen. The site is well nigh unusable. Flash based? Are you kidding me? What was wrong with the simple layout of Sunsolve.com?

    Here's a hint: when your support staff is posting videos of how to search the site and users are begging for the old site to return, that's an indicator of failure. Not to mention how slow the site is, Flash OR HTML. This worse than upgrading from XP to Vista. Your incompetence is affecting people's workdays.

    Not to mention that my perfectly functioning account (before the "upgrade") does not work now.

    Seriously Oracle, you have made mine and my DBA's lives harder. Oracle's support site is an abortion and a travesty. Someone needs to be fired.

    ^^ Must disagree! I think the site is very easy to navigate, and isn't slow at all.
