Mounting ext2 and ext3

I just returned from the FISL conference in Porto Alegre Brazil. Although all of Sun's free software was represented, OpenSolaris was the star attraction at the show. Throughout the week we hosted an install fest in the Sun booth and it seemed that at all times every square inch of counter top was occupied by a laptop installing OpenSolaris:



As most attendees were already using Linux, the most common question I received was "Can I mount my ext3 partition?". The answer is yes - check out the ext3 file system support project.

    However, I think this is a bit miss leading as it has not been intergrated into ON yet afaik. (as of snv_118).
