News, tips, partners, and perspectives for the Oracle Solaris operating system

Coming To a Place Near You - Presentations on Oracle Solaris

In the coming months we have some really nice in person events coming your way.

First thing I wanted to mention is that we will be holding two Oracle Solaris TechDays in on April 29th in Dubai and on May 14th in Prague. These TechDays are all day events with in-depth presentations and demonstrations on various Oracle Solaris technologies and features, and how to use them. What also makes these TechDays special is that the presentations are given by Bill Nesheim -- the VP of Engineering for Oracle Solaris -- and his top engineers, giving a unique opportunity to interact with them directly. So these are both a full day of technical presentations on Oracle Solaris.

Then I wanted to also point out there are other events happening in other locations. These events will have a combination of presentations on various Oracle Systems products like the Private Cloud Appliance (PCA), Oracle SPARC systems, the storage Oracle ZS-7, Oracle Solaris, as well as a presentation on how to best refresh your estate to lower costs and risk. The events will be on April 9th in Stockholm, on April 9th in Rome, on April 10th in Helsinki, on April 25th in Dallas TX, and on April 25th in Utrecht. So if you live close to these events and are interested you are cordially invited to register and attend.

Going forward more events will be organized to find these you can always check Oracle Events website, and search on "Solaris".

And finally I wanted to point out that for those who don't live close to these locations, we'll also be holding a Virtual Seminar on Continuous Innovation with Oracle Solaris 11.4 that anybody from anywhere can join. This Virtual Seminar is a more technical in-depth 2 hour session on various Oracle Solaris 11.4 technologies with examples on how they could be used. The invite and registration page to follow shortly.

[Update] Here's the link to the Virtual Seminar on April 25th.
