Happy Easter! I hope the Easter bunnies left you good wishes and success!

Both the SOA and BPM Oracle product management team released great PS6 surprises for you! You can find both the latest SOA PS6 and BPM PS6 product overviews at our SOA Community Workspace (SOA Community membership required. On the BPM side PS6 comes with major updates for Composer, Workspace, Revisioning and most important in Adaptive Case Management Support. If you have written a blog post about the new solutions - please feel free to share it with us via twitter @soacommunity!

If in case you work on a BPM 11g opportunity please share it with us! - we want to support you and will make sure we both win!

If you work on a BPM 11g projects - make sure you read the BPM 11g performance tuning whitepaper! and for SOA Suite - read the SOA 11g performance tuning whitepaper! I would also recommend you to subscribe to the A-Team SOA blog. The Cattle Crew recently posted a SOA performance blog post, please take out some time to read it..

At theOracle Learning Library you can get instant on-demand trainings for Oracle SOA Suite and Oracle BPM Suite. With the new release of SOA Suite, we are planning to provide training to all SOA Governance experts. If you want to be trained in it please add your name to our community wiki!

Thanks to our partner C2B2 who offers an on-demand training series for SOA Suite high performance & tuning. We will offer an SOA blackbelt training intended for all Oracle SOA Suite experts in the month of June. For registration please contact myself.

If you want to become an Oracle OpenWorld (OOW) 2013 speaker make sure you follow the tips from Demed. Feel free to submit your middleware papers for DOAG 2013 . In addition to this call for papers are posted in our wiki!

You can find the latest SOA & BPM Industry Presentations for defense, automotive, financial services, healthcare, oil & gas, public sector and utilities at our SOA Community Workspace (SOA Community membership required). These presentations include many industry specific references, which you can also position to your customers. At last but not least I would also ask you to submit a SOA and BPM reference request!

SOA Community Newsletter March 2013

Thanks to everybody who attended the Fusion Middleware Partner Community Forum 2013. With 125 attendees the event was booked out. Special thanks to all presenters for the great presentations and workshops. In the case you could not make it to Faro, all the presentations from the keynotes, general sessions and the 3 tracks: SOA, BPM and WebLogic & ADF are available at our community workspace, except the SOA Suite 12c beta demo – what you missed!

On the BPM side new Process Accelerators are available with release 11.1.1.6.3, make sure you try them e.g. for your next BPM customer demo. A must read is the new A-Team paper BPM 11g Performance Tuning.

SOA Community Newsletter February 2013

Dear SOA partner community member

In this newsletter edition we highlighted many new online demos for SOA, BPM and OEP. Being a partner, you can use the same demo systems that Oracle pre-sales consultants use every day for customers. Out of the box demos including a flow & script have been updated. Demos are key in the sales process! To access the DSS demo systems please visit OPN and feel free to talk to your Partner Expert!

With the rise of big and fast data SOA and pattern matching can play a key role, make sure you attend our webcast and get the latest whitepaper. To design SOA architectures, OASIS published a SOA reference architecture and EAIESB a SOA BPEL 2.0 Poster. If you work on SOA project make sure you follow the C2B2 SOA Tuning webcast series and I recommend you to try the SOA Testing utilities.

In the BPM section we published new papers such as Transforming Customer Experience,Cooking Up Successful BPMand BPM in Utilities. In addition to this the BPM DSS Demos to extend Siebel are available. Mark Nelson published a blog post about Collecting diagnostic information for BPM and Jan van Zoggel about Integration of Oracle BPM and Oracle UCM/WCC. Please read these publications and make yourself updated from these shared knowledge.

Happy holiday and have a great start in the year 2013!

To make your New Year successful, we would like to invite you to our Fusion Middleware Partner Community Forum 2013. This is the best platform to learn and become certified on middleware. Our major tracks include SOA, BPM and ADF & WebLogic. If you are also an expert in middleware, you can learn more about new products and features like BPM PS6 or b2b and event processing. The event is also a great opportunity to network within the partner community and with the Oracle product management team. Make sure you register asap – as only 120 seats are available this year!

In this newsletter edition you will find two major topics: b2b and cloud computing. On the b2b side Martien van den Akker and the A-Team published a series of articles. Additional we made the latest b2b samples and training material available at our SOA Community Workspace (SOA Community membership required.

On the cloud side Bruce Tierney published an article on "Cloud Integration in Minutes” - True or False? and at the OTN Architect Day a series of podcasts was recorded: Dude, What's My Role? and Migrating Mission-Critical Applications to the Cloud and All Clouds Are Not Equal and Cloud Security and Auditing.
In our monthly BPM section Ajay Khanna shared insight on what will happen in the BPM space in 2013. Geoffroy de Lamalle published a video “eProseed Delivers Processes Skillfully with Oracle BPM Suite" Want to promote your BPM success - submit a BPM eference request!

If you are working on SOA projects, make sure you use the RDA Health Checks for SOA and read the SOA Suite 11g Developer's Cookbook by Anthony Reynolds.

Winter time is training time - we offer many on-demand trainings and assessments to become Specialized. A SOA, BPM or ADF certified Implementation is the best for a great start in 2013.

Thanks for the excellent middleware track at the UKOUG conference, we posted all presentations at our SOA Community Workspace (SOA Community membership required). Thanks also to the DOAG team for the conference, you can find most of the presentations and a nice report on the Vennster blog At the community workspace you can also find a big BPM update including papers for BPM design best practice & industry papers & process accelerators demos.

On the SOA suite our product management team published a series of new articles. One of our partners Gebhart offers tooling for Quality Analysis for SOA and Cloud. Dear SOA partner community member

Too many different product from Oracle, no idea how do they fit together? Get a copy of the Oracle catalog, an excellent overview of the Oracle middleware portfolio. BPM is a key solution to this portfolio. To position BPM to your customers you can find many use case ideas in the paper BPM 11g Patterns and industry specific value propositions for Financial Services & Insurance & Retail. Many more Process Accelerators (11.1.1.6.2) have become available. It is an excellent demo and starting point for BPM projects.

Our SOA Suite team published the most important OOW presentation at the OTN website. The Oracle SOA proactive support team is running a series of blog posts about SOA and JMS Introductory. To become an expert in SOA, Bob highlighted the latest list of SOA books. For OSB projects we recommend the EAIESB OSB poster.
