Painlessly Adding a Third Monitor to a Windows XP Laptop

At work I use a Windows XP laptop with a second monitor plugged in. Windows makes it easy to extend the desktop to this second monitor giving me double the screen real-estate. However, recently I had been trying to find a way to add a spare monitor I had lying around the office as a third monitor in this setup, but alas there was nowhere to plug it into on my laptop. After doing a bit of research, I decided on the Diamond BVU195 HD USB Display Adapter) which I picked up for around $70 USD the last time I was in the US for work. After installing the driver, I plugged in the little box on one end to my monitor and on the other end to a free USB port. It came with an adapter to work with a DVI or VGA cable. The third monitor instantly became available to extend my desktop onto. One of those few things in life that "just worked" the first time. Highly recommended if you have a spare monitor lying around collecting dust...
