Filtering a Tree, Showing Necessary Parent Nodes
By Steve Muench on Sep 15, 2009
I've added example # 150 to illustrate a technique for filtering a tree, displaying any necessary parent nodes (even if they don't match the filter) in order to see the matching nodes. The example illustrates a slight variation on my 10.1.3 example #113 (Apply Bind Varible Values to Filter View Link Accessor RowSets) that is needed in 11g to correctly drive the bind variable values into the nested rowsets created by the tree binding. It also shows off a simple framework extension class to print out each view object SQL statement that is executed and what bind variable values it has at the time of execution.
