A Wifi Digital Picture Frame That Finally Worked

I live far away from my parents and I have long wanted to get them a digital picture frame, but had previously balked at the idea of one where they needed to download photos and transfer them to the frame using a USB key. While my dad is a computer guy and would have had no problem doing this, it just seemed like a hassle that involved too much effort for my sending them new pictures and getting them into the frame. This summer, however, I finally began to notice some wifi digital picture frames coming onto the market. This seemed like the perfect solution to my problem since I wanted to be able to upload pictures myself that would "magically" just appear on the digital frame in their house thousands of miles away. After some research, I decided on the Toshiba DMF102XKU 10-Inch Wireless Digital Media Frame which seemed to offer a simple design and have simple setup and on-screen touch controls. The first unit they got turned out to be defective, but after a friend told me he had had success with the same model we tried again and the second unit worked perfectly. I look forward to keeping their frame filled with pictures of the grandkids without their having to lift a finger...
