The Grand Tour has begun, with our recent event in Los Angeles. Special thanks to our partner Softclouds who worked with us on the event.
George Jacob (GVP CRM at Oracle), was in pole position and provided an update on Siebel CRM strategy and how we are helping our customers meet their digital transformation objectives. We detailed what stages customers are at with Siebel CRM IP 2017 adoption and introduced the new continuous release model. Not forgetting of course - the new innovations coming in the Siebel CRM 2018 release.
Agnes Zhang from the Siebel CRM team also demonstrated new features such as Gateway Clustering and configuring a Customer Dashboard with infolets and charts, all through the browser IDE. We also showed the latest Business Process Automation feature, with the ability to auto-create iHelp flows directly from recorded user journeys in the application.
Partner SoftClouds presented their "Qupplet" innovation which utilizes IBM Watson as a platform for Natural Language Processing. The NLP engine is integrated into the Siebel CRM UI as an applet allowing for users to query and get a more accurate and relevant result. You can learn more about "Qupplet" by watching this video.
Our delegates also heard about customer success stories for hybrid Siebel CRM and Cloud solutions with American Airlines, Equinix and Subaru. We were delighted to have Mazda sharing how Siebel CRM has transformed their Call Center inefficiencies to reflect the needs of the modern customer.
If you are not upto speed with what's been going on in Release 17 and 18 you won't believe how much the product has changed. Siebel CRM is having an agile revolution - previous development and deployment lap times are being smashed to pieces.
Don't forget to keep a close eye on our Grand Tour blog page as dates get confirmed and registration opens for new events in your region.
