Recently the Siebel CRM team got the Grand Tour circuit started in Europe, with an event in Helsinki at the impressive Finland Aviation Museum. It was great to meet our customers and partners who attended our Roadshow events back to find out more about the forthcoming Siebel CRM 18 release and also to see some of our new customers attending.
Special thanks to Mika, a top sergeant from the Finnish Police who presented how they are focusing on User Experience to ensure their officers can conduct investigations and interviews in a quick and timely manner using a modified Siebel CRM interface developed with Open UI.
The Siebel CRM team are immensely proud that we are supporting the success of the Finnish Police, named the most reliable police force in the world, with the least crime record, it is the world's most safest country!. Read about the accolades here!
Our partner cSolutor helped us organise the event, cSolutor are also key to the successful delivery of the new UX being used by the police.
We also provided an update on Siebel CRM strategy and how we are helping our customers meet their digital transformation objectives. We detailed where our customers are at with Siebel CRM IP 2017 adoption and the new continuous release model. Not forgetting of course - the new innovation coming in the Siebel CRM 2018 release.
In just under 40 minutes we demonstrated live a real-time configuration of Siebel CRM using Workspaces, configuring a dashboard with infolets and charts, previewed immediately through the browser. Then using the browser-based Management Console, zero-downtime deployment of the changes into a production environment and an instantaneous rollback (to last known good version), directly simulating an immediate production restore scenario. Oh - and yes - all this was done with Siebel CRM 18 running on Docker.
If you are not upto speed with what's been going on in Release 17 and 18 you won't believe your eyes. Siebel CRM is having an agile revolution - previous development and deployment lap times are being smashed to pieces.
Don't forget to keep a close eye on our Grand Tour blog page as dates get confirmed and registration opens for new events in your region.
