I'm probably the only blogger who didn't blog during the actual OOW SF week. But I simply had no time. 3 sessions, 2 hands on labs and 3 shifts at the demoground plus aces briefing, customer meeting and the big party doesn't leave you much time.
I think this year was very successful from the JDeveloper perspective. Oracle Develop sessions were usually quite full, and my OOW session about Oracle JDeveloper was also sold out in a room of 300 people. I think more and more people are starting to understand the key role that JDeveloper and ADF are going to play in their future development roles.
I think that all the slides from the sessions are going to be available online for people who attended OOW. But when I did my Oracle Develop session about the 7 things you need to know about JDeveloper - a lot of people wanted a copy of the slides and I promised I'll post it on my blog - so here you go.
These might also be helpful for anyone else who is using JDeveloper on a daily basis, although I'm not sure how effective this is without the demos that took about half of the session time.
Anyway, if you were at OOW this year you are probably still trying to catch your breath, and if you weren't maybe these slides and the feedback you can read on other blogs will convince you that this is one conference you should not be missing.
See you next year.
