[the following was written on Friday afternoon]
When I looked at my JDeveloper google RSS feed this morning I saw that several people already blogged that JDeveloper 10.1.3.3 was available for download.
This was a little surprising to me since I knew we didn't externalized the official links yet.
Turns out P.M. MARTIN did a little playing with URLs on OTN and found the "secret" door to access the 10.1.3.3 download and posted it on the OTN forum. Once the rumor leaked there was no stopping the blogsphere and the unofficial announcement went out.
Well the tricky part that people found out once they downloaded was that the extensions for 10.1.3.3 weren't there yet.
This is exactly why we didn't publish it before.
Well to send you off to a nice weekend of playing, we now completed the externalization of all the parts and you can now officially download JDeveloper 10.1.3.3 from OTN without any hacking and get all the extensions.
This release is a bug-fix release so it might not be as exciting as the new iPhone that also comes out today - but hey at least it is free.
