Looking for Java on Mac?

Shay Shmeltzer
Director of Product Management - Oracle

I just found out this article I wrote which is a basic step-by-step getting-started manual for building a Java applicaiton that connects to the database.

The cool thing is that it is hosted on the Apple web site, and it contains images from JDeveloper running on Mac. Yes - it is an official JDeveloper on Mac Tutorial.

I used 10.1.2 for the screenshots. But you can follow the same steps with 9.0.5 as well.

So if you have a mac and you are looking for an easy way to build applications that would be portable - check this one out.
