This is not a pyramid scheme!
This actually works.
All you have to do is come up with an idea for a technical session that people would want to watch, and submit it as an abstract to the upcoming Desktop 2005 conference. (which has nothing to do with desktop development).
Desktop 2005 is going to be an online conference that people can join from their desktop (using Oracle Collaboration Suite) and watch seminars and lectures.
The topics for the sessions can range from bleeding edge SOA and J2EE development to PL/SQL tips and tricks.
They are accepting proposals for papers right now and you can submit yours here:
There will be an Oracle Track with lectures by Oracle PMs, and there will be sessions by other worthy Java and Oracle experts.
If you can share from your experience in a session youll get a free pass to the conference which is worth $250.
And all you have to do is talk about something you know about for one hour looks like a good deal to me.
So what can you tell people that they don't already know ??
