Share Your JDeveloper Knowledge and Get a Free Pass to OOW

The call for papers for both Oracle Open World and Oracle Develop is now open here.

This is your chance to share your experience with JDeveloper and ADF with your peers, and get a free pass to the conference. From past conferences we know that sessions where customers talk about their real world experience with the tool, and summarize what they learn and what other people should look for, are always a success. This is your chance to shine and add the "presenter in conferences" section to your resume.

The call for papers ends on March 21st - so don't miss your window of opportunity.

Comments:

If you want to submit a JDeveloper paper, do you submit it to JavaOne or Oracle Open World, or both. The JavaOne deadline is March 14, not March 21. In either case, that's a pretty small window.

The distinction is that JavaOne is for "pure" Java topics - you are not likely to get a session accepted if it talks purely about a specific product. So I would recommend you post those to either OOW or Oracle Develop. One exception though is if you can spin a good Java project success story - something like "how we used Java to beat .NET" , or "Lessons learned when building large scale Java projects"- you might be able to get into JavaOne - so it is worth trying to submit a paper there. Note that there is nothing preventing you from submitting the same paper to both OOW and JavaOne - those are two separate systems.
