Producing Documentation for UML in JDeveloper

One question that came up in an email this week reminded me that I should have probably blogged about this a long time ago.
The question is "How do we produce documentation from the UML diagrams in JDeveloper?"

Turns out this is another thing that is a bit hidden in JDeveloper.
There are two things you can do with the diagrams to get documentation.
The first one is to right click and choose "Publish Diagram...", Which will let you export the diagram as an image.
But if you are looking for a more full set of documentation then the way to go is to choose the project that contains your UML diagrams and from the Run menu choose "JavaDoc project" - this will produce documentation for your design in HTML including pages, images and navigation.

Comments:

Thank you so much for the second suggestion (JavaDoc project)... extremely valuable tip for me.
